Welcome to Oakwood School!

We are so excited to welcome you and your family to the 2025–2026 school year! It is an honor to partner with you in your child’s educational journey, and I look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and meaningful connections.

I proudly served as the assistant principal at Oakwood School from 2020-2024 and am now entering my second year as principal. With 16 years in public education, I feel incredibly fortunate to continue this work in District 113A, a district deeply committed to the success and well-being of every child.

At Oakwood School, we believe that a strong foundation for learning begins with a safe, nurturing environment and classrooms where children feel seen, valued, and supported. We are committed to providing every student with the tools they need to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

We also recognize that the most powerful learning happens when schools and families work together. Your involvement and encouragement make a tremendous difference in your child’s experience. Whether you attend a school event, volunteer your time, or simply talk with your child about their day, your presence matters, and it’s deeply appreciated.

Strong communication is the cornerstone of our partnership with families. I am committed to open, timely, and supportive communication throughout the school year.
