Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!

We are thrilled to welcome you and your family to another exciting year at Oakwood School! It is an honor to partner with you in your child's educational journey, and I look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and meaningful connections.

This school year marks my third year as the principal of Oakwood School. Before serving as principal, I had the privilege of being Oakwood's assistant principal from 2020–2024. I continue to feel incredibly grateful to serve the students, families, and staff of District 113A and to be part of a community that is deeply committed to the success and well-being of every child.

At Oakwood School, we believe that a strong educational foundation begins with a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn. Our dedicated staff is committed to helping each student grow academically, socially, and emotionally while fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.

We also know that the strongest partnerships are built between home and school. Your involvement, encouragement, and support play an essential role in your child's success. Whether you attend school events, volunteer your time, or simply ask your child about their day, your engagement makes a meaningful difference, and we sincerely appreciate your partnership.
